Kellen Winslow was selected first round (6th overall) by the Cleveland Browns at the 2004 NFL Draft.  In 2006 Winslow led all NFL tight ends and ranked ninth in the league with 89 receptions.  In 2006 he tied Ozzie Newsome with 89 receptions in a season.  On September 12, 2004 Winslow made his NFL starting debut at tight end with 4 receptions for 39 yards, including a long 21-yard play.  In the 2006 season with the Browns Winslow started in all 166 regular season games at tight end and led the Browns, with 89 receptions for 875 yards and 3 touchdowns.  In 2007 Winslow was named as a first alternate for the 2008 Pro Bowl, then on February 4, Antonio Gates of the San Diego Chargers announced he would not be attending the Pro Bowl due to injury.  This paved the way for Winslow to make his first trip to the Pro Bowl.  He finish the 2007 season with 82 receptions for 1106 yards and five touchdowns. During the 2008 season, Winslow was hospitalized with a staph infection, but finished out the season with 43 receptions for 428 yards and 3 touchdowns.
